Crowd Game - Forbidden Actions

Prohibited actions

Ratio:

Every action performed on Otium will earn points that will be used to compose a ranking from which the winners will be decided. The aim is to encourage participation and interaction between Crowders on Otium. For this reason, all virtual actions that do not pursue this specific goal or perpetrated without showing real participation will be investigated by Crowdville staff and may lead to the disqualification of the Crowder from the competition.

Post

Posts must be published in the groups respecting the topics of the groups. They must be 'proactive' posts (you cannot just write 'good morning' but must propose a topic of conversation) and never offensive.

Comments

They must make sense and be relevant to the post being commented on, length does not matter, as long as they are relevant to the content being posted. If Crowdville staff notice any "suspicious patterns" they may invalidate the scores and award a penalty.

Example: the crowder enters a group or several groups commenting on all the posts writing only "hello" or "good morning" or with copy/paste comments. This shows that the participant is not participating respecting the rationale of the contest (to encourage conversations and participation on Otium) and would be liable to disqualification or penalty.

Add a friend

The phrase 'add a friend' means the request for friendship and subsequent acceptance from one Crowder to another within Otium. Any suspicious action in this regard will be investigated and sanctioned accordingly.

Reports

Crowders can report any suspicious behaviour to Community Managers in private. Each report will be assessed anonymously and a response will be given to the reporter as soon as possible.

Sanctions

Penalties may range from a simple warning to disqualification. They are at the sole discretion of the Crowdville Team and are non-appealable.
