Do you know Crowdsoucing?

If you are a Crowdville member, you are part of the Crowdsourcing model! Don't know what it is? We explain it to you in this article.

In recent decades, crowdsourcing has revolutionised human collaboration, enabling masses of connected individuals to contribute to complex projects. Originally emerging in the 1980s and 1990s, the term 'crowdsourcing' was coined in 2006 by Jeff Howe and Mark Robinson. Since then, the practice has evolved rapidly and encompasses both information gathering and problem solving. It also includes areas such as design, programming and multimedia production.

With the advent of artificial intelligence, crowdsourcing has undergone further transformations, with platforms such as Amazon Mechanical Turk combining AI and human labour to solve complex problems.

In conclusion, crowdsourcing is constantly evolving and helps us solve everyday problems through collaboration: this is precisely why Crowdville exists, the digital land where Crowders are called to contribute to the development of important projects.
